Heat Pumps

Solar Panels

Solar panels are probably the most common form of renewable energy in Ireland due to their long term affordability. On a basic level, solar panels work by absorbing sunlight and using it to heat water for showers, baths and hot taps. Apart from the obvious non-polluting advantages of solar panels, solar panels will also ultimately save you money.
Solar PV
Solar PV (photovoltaics) works on the same general principles as solar panels, except that they absorb daylight and convert that light directly into electricity. Solar PV requires little to no maintenance and requires only daylight to work; this means they will be fully functioning on cloudy, rainy days and all through the winter months.
High Efficiency Oil and Gas Boilers
Older, more traditional boilers are often uneconomical and prone to wasting energy. Much of the heat they produce is lost up the chimney, making them expensive to run. Replacing your old boiler with a high efficiency model ensures that you’re not losing heat, as they capture most of heat that would have otherwise been lost.
